LED lighting is illuminating sites for Nio cars across the major cities of Europe, as their global expansion gathers pace.
Their unique offering is to provide a user experience that goes beyond the car showroom, from meetings rooms, labs and galleries to fitness and relaxation rooms.
So far, Bright Green Technology has supplied lighting systems to 3 cities. In each case a different product from our range was used to adapt to the location and deliver optimum lighting for the project.
Sustainability, speed, quality and design focus were all critical to match the brand values of Nio and to complement the overall design.
Bright Green Space was specified to supply structural and lighting design for the flagship site in Rotterdam.
The Rotterdam House is in an industrial style and the concept was to work with the existing features and surfaces of the space.
Visitors are guided from the front gallery – where visitors can learn about NIO’s range of cars – to the welcoming clubhouse at the rear.
This change of scene is supported by a gradient in the colour of the floor, walls and ceiling which gradually transform from neutral white to a warm caramel. Our lighting design matched these colours with a transition area in the centre.
Bright Green Matrix was chosen for this due to the modular design and install flexibility – allowing us to customise the transition and adjust the brightness. Barrisol stretch material was used for the lightboxes.
